Farmhouse Wedding | Taylor + Mitchell

SUMMERTIME WEDDING

I had been looking forward to Taylor and Mitchell’s wedding for quite some time, and I’m excited that they are OFFICIALLY Mr. and Mrs. Sparks! We took their engagement photos several months ago, and they brought along their puppy, Okie, who was brand new to the family at the time! (Their engagement pictures practically made them famous because all of my clients refer to them as the “couple with the adorable golden doodle. Haha!) I loved getting to hang out with Taylor and Mitchell and see them play with Okie at their engagement session, so it was only fitting when Okie made a guest appearance at their wedding day at The Farmhouse last weekend. (There’s no such thing as posting too many cute dog photos, right…?)

We had a gorgeous summer day for Taylor and Mitchell’s wedding, and the whole day was relaxed and filled with joy! Laced with Grace worked their magic behind-the-scenes to ensure every little detail was in place, and I still can’t get over the gorgeous color palette Taylor chose and the amazing florals by The Senterpiece. Taylor even had a special flower crown made for Okie- it was adorable!

FARMHOUSE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION

One of my favorite parts of the day was the heartfelt ceremony held in the chapel. After Taylor made her way down the aisle with her dad, Mitchell scooped her up into a giant hug! You could tell how excited he was to marry his bride, and it was so sweet! Once they said “I do,” they had HUGE smiles on their faces as they walked back down the aisle.

The reception space was all decked out with lush florals and gray and navy accents, and I especially loved the cake table! A boxwood wall was placed behind the cake table, and it sported a monogrammed sign reading “The Sparks.” Taylor and Mitchell also incorporated their new last name into their wedding hashtag- Let Sparks Fly. How cute!

The Company Band entertained guests all night and even sang and danced on the dancefloor with the crowd. It was such an energetic reception filled with great music, margaritas, and lastly, a sparkler exit.

Mr. and Mrs. Sparks, we loved being a part of your beautiful wedding day! Congratulations on the start of this new adventure, and we wish you both (and Okie!) all the happiness in the world!!
