Farmhouse Wedding | Melissa + Zack

SUMMER FARMHOUSE WEDDING

Melissa and Zack were married at one of our all-time favorite wedding venues, The Farmhouse! When I first arrived, I was ooh-ing and aah-ing over the beautiful reception details and the greenery draped on the chandeliers. With the help of Rachel May Weddings and Striking Stems, the entire venue was transformed into a dreamy, garden-inspired space! Melissa spent the morning getting her hair and makeup done by the talented team at Blushd Beauty, and I loved getting to know all of her sweet bridesmaids.

After Melissa got dressed, she shared a First Look with her dad in the bridal suite. His reaction to seeing her in her dress was priceless! Shortly after, Melissa made her way outside to see Zack for the very first time on their wedding day. After Zack saw his beautiful bride, I remember him telling her, “I’m so glad we did this!” (We always love capturing First Looks because it’s a fun, private moment for the bride and groom to see each other before they are in front of all of their guests!) After some fun bridal party portraits, it was time to line everyone up to walk down the aisle.

The ceremony took place in The Farmhouse’s white chapel, and it was the perfect setting for a hot summer day. The ceremony was light-hearted and filled with laughter as Melissa and Zack both said “I do” to spending forever together! Once at the reception, Melissa and Zack shared special dances with their parents and listened to toasts from members of the bridal party. We snuck them out of the reception after dinner to take a few sunset photos, and I am so glad we did! The sunset at The Farmhouse is absolutely incredible, and we had the best time capturing Melissa and Zack’s newlywed glow as the sun went down.

When it was time to get the party started, J&A Entertainment dimmed the lights and turned up the music! Guests were dancing all night, and I knew it was going to be a great party when guests started an impromptu congo line with Melissa’s grandma at the front. Haha!

At the end of the night, guests lined up with sparklers outside the venue as Melissa and Zack shared a private last dance inside. Then, everybody cheered on the new Mr. and Mrs. Rosson as they made their grand exit. Melissa and Zack, it was such an honor being a part of your joyful wedding day. We are so happy for you two!!
