Brownstone Reserve Wedding | Kayley + Ryan

SOUTHERN INSPIRED WEDDING

Kayley and Ryan were married last weekend at Brownstone Reserve in College Station, TX, and we loved going back to one of our favorite venues in town! It was a chilly day for their winter wedding, but their outdoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful nonetheless! The bride’s bouquet and floral arrangements incorporated Spanish moss which was one of my favorite unique touches of the day! Kayley had a custom sign made for the ceremony that sported antlers and her new last initial, R, and the groom’s cake was hunting themed. It read, “The hunt is over!” How cute are those Southern inspired details!

At the beginning of the day, Kayley and Ryan shared a First Look which meant they saw each other before the ceremony. I always think that’s such a fun way to start the day because it takes all of the pressure off before the ceremony! There are so many great places to take photos at Brownstone Reserve, so we were glad to have some extra time to venture around the venue for portraits. When it was time for the ceremony, Kayley and her dad walked arm in arm across the beautiful stone bridge to the ceremony site. Shortly after, it was the moment everyone had been waiting for- Kayley and Ryan officially became Mr. and Mrs. Roderick!!

BROWNSTONE RESERVE WEDDING RECEPTION

After Kayley and Ryan made their grand entrance down the staircase to the reception, they shared their First Dance. To make the moment even more special, they “danced on a cloud” as Southern Style Entertainment likes to call it. You’ll have to keep scrolling to see photos of what I’m talking about! Shortly afterwards, the Maid of Honor and Best Man toasted the newlyweds, and then dinner and dancing began. In true Southern fashion, there were plenty of two-stepping, and of course, the Aggie War Hymn was played later in the evening.

If you know me, you know I have a huge sweet tooth. I thought it was such a great idea when a late night bagel & donut wall was set up for guests to enjoy with coffee. (I wish I would have thought to have that at my own wedding- I am obsessed with donuts!) When the evening was coming to a close, Kayley and Ryan shared a private last dance before guests waved them goodbye with sparklers.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Roderick! We loved being a part of your wedding day and getting to celebrate with y’all! Wishing you all the best as you start your journey as husband and wife!
