Brownstone Reserve Wedding

Alyssa and Todd’s wedding ceremony took place at St. Mary’s in College Station, and it was followed by a fun reception at Brownstone Reserve. Brownstone Reserve is a new wedding venue, and Alyssa and Todd chose it before it was even built! The venue is a photographer’s dream with its gorgeous architecture and stone accents. Even the bridal suite is perfection! When I arrived, the bridesmaids had all of the dresses hanging up on hooks, and it made the perfect backdrop for all of the getting ready photos. I knew it would be a fun group of bridesmaids to work with because they were non-stop laughter in all of the photos from the beginning!

One thing I loved about Alyssa and Todd’s wedding was how well thought out every detail was. The couple enlisted the help of All Things Planned who worked with them to dream up the vision for their lavender and minty-blue wedding day. Their team was incredible making sure every part of the day from the ceremony to the reception was perfect!

oh, how time flies

I think about how time flies all the time, but Alyssa’s wedding really made me think back to when we were in college studying abroad together. We went on a trip across Europe that was hosted by Texas A&M with 80 college kids (crazy, I know!), and sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. Now we are both married and in the next chapter of our lives!

I’ve loved getting to know Alyssa and Todd better throughout their wedding journey from their sweet engagement session on A&M’s campus to their magical wedding day last weekend. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kveton! I wish you both all the happiness in the world (including lots and lots of sunflowers!), and I hope you have the best time in the Smokey Mountains!
